Two Bristol Borough School District Students Charged with Attempted Robbery, Authorities Say

Bristol Borough authorities announced Sunday evening that two school district students were arrested after Friday night’s Warriors high school football game.

Acting Superintendent/Business Manager for the school district, Christopher McHugh, alerted school district families through automated calls and a post on social media around 5:15 p.m. this evening saying, “two students” were arrested and charged with attempted robbery.

Bristol Borough Chief of Police Joe Moors provided a little more information about the investigation and arrests to Lower Bucks Source moments ago.

We received a report late Friday night of an incident that occurred on the walking path behind Bristol High School, Moors said, following the football game.

“All individuals that were involved in the incident are juveniles,” police said.

“Following an investigation, two minors were criminally charged and remanded to the custody of the Bucks County Youth Center in Doylestown,” said Moors.

Authorities, due to the myriad of protections afforded minors in these types of incidents, will not be releasing any additional information, officials said.

There is no further danger to the Bristol Borough community, authorities said.

The Warriors, in a high-powered offensive-fueled game, lost to Executive Education Academy 48 to 33.
