A family member of the woman stabbed this weekend in Bristol Borough said the victim is “doing ok” Tuesday.
The source, who has seen the out pouring from well wishers in the area on social media, just wanted to let people know the she’s getting stronger because of her “fighting spirit.”
“She’s already been moved to a regular hospital room” the source who asked to remain anonymous said yesterday.
The woman was stabbed in the abdomen in a domestic dispute in the early morning hours Saturday, police said.
She was quickly taken to Jefferson Torresdale Trauma Center by the Bucks County Rescue Squad for treatment where was originally listed in critical condition, police said.

As reported first by Lower Bucks Source Saturday morning, Denis Chirskoy, 27 of Bristol was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and possessing an instrument of crime for the early morning knife attack.
Bristol Borough Police officer Jame Ellis’ quickly located Chirskoy close to the 700 block Corson Street address where the assault occurred and placed him into custody,
Police say Chirskoy sustained a stab wound from the incident which was treated at a local medical facility before his arraignment.
Chirskoy was remanded to Bucks County Correctional on bail set at 10 % of $500,000 as he awaits court appearance currently scheduled for June 24 in Bristol Borough District Court.
