Victims Identified In Bristol Train Tragedy

The identities and cause of death of the three men who were tragically struck by an Amtrak train Thursday night was released by the Bucks County Coroner’s office Friday.

The decedents were identified as 56-year-old Christopher Cramp, 31-year-old David Cramp and 24-year-old Thomas Cramp, said Coroner Patricia A. Campi.

She ruled Chris and David’s deaths as accidental due to multiple blunt force injuries and Thomas’ death by suicide.

The tragic deaths of all three came as Chris and David tried desperately to talk Thomas down off the tracks last night.  Locals in the area, just before the train struck all three, heard the men talking loudly.

Chris who provided support and services to the homeless population as an Outreach worker for Penndel Mental Health also served as volunteer firefighter in Bristol Borough.

When it comes to Chris, he would want people to know two things. He died trying to be a hero and a father, Aaron McHugh Associate Executive Director of Penndel Mental Health whispered through tears on the phone Friday.

“His loss is immeasurable,” he said.

A Go Fund Me was launched earlier today to help provide support to offset funeral costs and services. Just over 4,800.00 dollars has been raised with 64 donors contributing.

No information has been released regarding services for the Cramp men.
