Woman Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Accident on Rt 13

A woman pedestrian was killed on Rt 13 Saturday evening

Bristol Borough Police are investigating the incident in  which a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Rt, 13.

Police say they received a report of  a stuck pedestrian at 3:58 p.m. and responded to the scene in the area of 200 Bristol Pike between Bath Street and Commerce Circle.

Witnesses on scene reported seeing the woman bleeding from a head wound.

Sgt Joe Moors confirmed the victim died due to her injuries and said cause of death would be determined by the coroners office at a later date.

The operator of the vehicle stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with police but the investigation remains active, said Moors.

Traffic was stopped for a period time, police said, on the busy roadway.
