A female suspect is sought for attempting to pass counterfeit money at a local store on Saturday morning, store officials say.
Three suspects are being sought by Bristol Borough Police for attempting to pass counterfeit money at the Family Dollar Bristol outlet on Saturday.
According to store officials, the woman featured in the image below passed $180 in counterfeit bills while shopping at the newly opened outlet. The incident, management said, occurred at 9:30 a.m.
Store officials say the suspect fled area in a gray Nissan Altima with at least two African American male passengers.
Anyone with information and or recognizes the female pictured is asked to please call the Bristol Borough Police Department 215- 788-7813 and ask for officer Elifia Soto. You can also submit an anonymous tip by clicking this link.
A similar incident occurred at the Levittown Family Dollar last month.
Store officials say that incident occurred on October 30, at the 1652 Haines Road store. The outlet posted an image (see below) of what they believe to be the “prime suspect” in that fraudulent transaction valued at $200. Bristol Township Police are handling that case.
