A two-vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist and a grey SUV in the Croydon section of Bristol Township sent one man to an area hospital with injuries.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Cedar and Main Avenues at just past 5:35 p.m. adjacent to Cedar Park where a slew of preteens and teenagers were hanging out enjoying their first moments off from school Friday evening when a woman motorist making a right hand turn onto Cedar Ave. from Main clipped the motorcyclist heading towards State Road.
First responders from the Croydon Fire Company and Bucks County Rescue Squad with fire police were on scene. Township police officers cordoned off the area in all directions diverting traffic away from the crash site.

A local man, who identified himself as “Mike”, said his ex-wife was the driver of the SUV that struck the rider.
The motorcyclist was awake and alert when they loaded him into the rescue squad ambulance, Mike said, adding that his leg looked “messed up” and also noting the rider wasn’t wearing a helmet when he crashed.
“His head hit the ground,” Mike said, as the cruiser type motorcycle struck the roadway.
Fire police remained on scene as the crash investigation team taped off the area so evidence and witness statements could be taken.
As of 11:50 p.m. Friday information about the rider’s condition remained unavailable.
