Attic Wiring Ignites Fire in Levittown Home Fire Officials Say

A Monday morning fire in the Bristol Township section of Levittown was caused by wiring in the home’s attic, fire officials said.

According to Captain Tom Stressman from the Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s Office, fire crews were dispatched at 5:55 a.m. for a house fire, 16 Grove Lane

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic, Stressman said, adding the home was vacant when the fire came to life.

No injuries were reported.
