Bristol Township first responders reportedly rescued at least one individual who ran from park police and jumped into Silver Lake in their attempts to flee authorities, Wednesday evening.

The incident, according to emergency services, occurred around 6:10 p.m.  with first responders dispatched for marine rescue.

According to a local first responder source, two people ran from Bucks County Park Police into Silver Lake and refused to come out.

“They were standing in the water and had to be dragged out,” the first responder source said.

A similar incident occurred earlier this year when a man fled the Lower Bucks Hospital emergency room and ran into Silver Lake.

No charges were filed overnight by authorities, according to publicly available records, as of publication time.
