Bristol Township Man Has Charges Held Over in May Morrisville Shooting

Bristol Township man who shot people in Morrisville has all his charges sustained and his case moves forward to the Court of Common Pleas.

Giovanni Diaz, 25 of Bristol Township is set to appear at the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas on August 26  charged with  one count of attempted homicide, three counts of aggravated assault and related offenses.

He is currently at Bucks County Correctional Facility with a no-bail condition placed upon him.

Diaz is accused of a early morning shooting two people in Morrisville in May.

According to court documents, Diaz shot a man in the head, and accidentally shot his girlfriend in the leg.

The shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. on the 200 block of Harrison Street and was the result of a domestic incident, police described.

The first of the two victim was transported to Capital Health for treatment in which he survived his injury.

Diaz drove his girlfriend to Lower Bucks Hospital where she was treated and released for her gun shot wound.  Diaz was taken into custody by Bristol Township Police at that time.
