Bristol Twp. Fire Rescue Offers Free First Aid, CPR Class

Bristol Township Fire Rescue and Emergency Management will offer a free family first aid and CPR class next for residents wanting to learn  life-saving skills.

The two-hour, offering takes place Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Bristol Township Parks and Recreation Building at 2104 Bath Road.

The course, seeks to teach attendees critical life saving skills when crisis like situations arise  in medical emergencies.

The curriculum includes basic first aid; infant, child, and adult CPR; the proper use of tourniquets and more.

State-certified EMT instructors will lead the class

The program is open to all ages. Children 12 and older are welcome to attend, provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

To register for the class or for additional information, individuals may call 267-812-2938.

The classes are not state certification offerings, the Twp said.
