Bristol Twp Police Investigating Woman Found Dead in Wooded Area

A woman’s dead body was found in the wooded area along Bristol Pike in Bristol Township Wednesday morning/

According to Police  at approximately 640 a.m  this morning  first responders were summoned to the wooded area off of the northbound travel lanes of 5000 block Bristol Pike (US 13) between Beaver Dam Road and Green Lane to investigate an unresponsive adult female.  

The subject was located, and EMS determined that she was deceased, said Lt Sean Cosgrove 

The Bucks County  Coroner’s Office was summoned.

Police would only say The 44-year-old woman’s death is under investigation without noting whether the her passing was of suspicious nature.  

A cause of death is pending the Coroner’s Office determination at a later date.
