Bristol Twp, Police Warn on the Uses of Fireworks within the Community

In advance of fireworks season the Bristol Township Police Department is warning its residents about the laws regarding their use within the boundaries of the township.

Police officials say the following:

No fireworks displays are permitted within 150 fee of an occupied structure.

No fireworks displays are permitted on public and/or private property without a township permit.

No fireworks displays are permitted on any properties owned by Bristol Township or Bristol Township School District.

Anyone violating these restrictions will face maximum fines up to $1,000.00 plus court cost for summary offenses:
