Cops: Argument at Levittown Wawa Leads to One Man Shot, Now in Critical Condition

A verbal altercation police say at the Wawa located on Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Bristol Township, led to one man being shot who is now in critical condition late Thursday night with investigators looking for  witnesses to the shooting.

According to Bristol Township Police, on Thursday, October 23, 2025, officers were dispatched to the Wawa at 3800 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown for the report of a person shot. The call came in at 11:53 hours and police arrived on scene at 11:54.

One male was found to have been shot and  was transported to St. Mary Medical Center, then flown to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. He is listed in critical condition said, Lt. Patrick Kitchenman.

This incident was reported to police as a verbal altercation that escalated into  physical fight. One of the involved parties then shot the other. The shooter remained on scene and has been cooperating with police, Kitchenman said.

The investigation is remains active and ongoing authorities said.
