A Bristol Township man has been jailed for terrorizing a Croydon family over several weeks according to police.
Tyler Perkins, 20, of Croydon was arraigned and jailed by Magisterial District Judge Kevin P. Wagner last week charged with felony criminal mischief,ย stalking, terroristic threats, and harassment.
According to police, a Croydon resident called Bucks County Police Radio and requested help from police with a “threatening situation.” An officer spoke with the victim and set up a meeting at his Garfield Avenue residence for December 28.
The following day Police met with the victim, his domestic partner who is expecting, and her father.
The victim, according to court records, told police he started to receive threats and harassing texts from the suspect sometime in November. The victim told police he does not know Perkins and has never met him personally, but is know to some of the family’s fiends. He told police he blocked Perkins on social media applications he was receiving messages from.
According to court documents, police were told that last month, a window at theย victim’s home was shot by a BB gun causing $250 damage.ย The next day, a Dodge Durango truck, belonging to a family members had multiple windows smashed and dents on the vehicle accruing damage to the total of $5041.47. At the same time as the property damage, the victim received a call from Perkins stating “Ahhhh ya mans pops got knocked the f**k out”. Perkins called the victim vulgar names and threatened to beat his a**, court records show.
Police in the criminal complaint said, onย December 26, Perkins was seen operating a blue Ford Expedition with PA tags, driving by the victim’s house and revving his engine. The vehicle matches with security footage from the night the Durango was damaged.
The next day, according to police, theย 2021, the blue Ford Expedition driven by Perkins was seen in front of the victim’s home. The defendant was allegedly taking pictures of the Garfield Ave residence.ย The suspect sent a photo of the home to the victim and then called him.
The victim put Perkins on speaker phone. Perkins is alleged to have said,ย “with all disrespect, I will get you, beat the f**k up and your unborn child killed”. The mother-to-be was present and heard the threats.
All three people at the address said they fear for their safety and want Perkins to stop his reign of alleged terror.
Perkins is currently scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing in Bristol Borough District Court on January 26.
