Croydon Dryer Fire Damages Home, Displaces Family of 4

A Wednesday night house fire in the Croydon has left a home seriously damaged and the residents being assisted by the Red Cross said, Bristol Township Deputy Fire Marshal Alex DelVecchio.

Bristol area fire crews were dispatched at 8:05 p.m. to the 1000 block area  of Spenser Drive in the Bristol Township for a dwelling fire, DelVecchio said.

The family of four living at the home escaped the flames unharmed and on scene witnesses said.  They are being assisted by the Red Cross, DelVecchio confirmed.

The fire started near a dryer in the home, the Deputy Fire Marshal said.
