Dead Man Found in Wooded Area Behind Amish Market

The body of a dead man was discovered in the wooded area behind the Bristol Amish Market and Wawa on Green Lane Thursday morning in Bristol.

The discovery occurred just before 10:30 as Bristol Township Police, the Bucks County Rescue Squad responded to the scene with Bristol Borough Police.

Officer in Charge Sgt Joe Moors said Friday the body was found just off the tow path in the area near the several homeless encampments Moors said.

Bristol Borough authorities are hoping to confirm the man’s identity in the coming days.

Cause of the mans death is pending a county corners report.
