Bristol Twp. Police Say Social Media Post About “Little Boy” is Fake

Bristol Township Police, Monday morning, say the social media post below about a lost child is fake.

Just trying to get ahead of this one, Sg. Jason Mancuso said , in a brief release to local media, this morning.

“The attachment is fake. It is spreading through our local area and seems to be a trend that is growing lately. We had a robbery post gain traction last week ,” Mancus said.

Police are asking for the community to beware of fake stories and potential scams that may result as of the post above. The department does in fact have a good relationship with Lower Bucks Source and if there was anything, to for example, to the above post the police department would get the story out using verified and proper channels.

The methods and means used by township police to deem the post fake were not provided at this time.
