Sources: Levittown Trace Car Fires Were Intentionally Caused, Investigation Ongoing

New information came into Lower Bucks Source late Saturday night about the car fires at the Levittown Trace Apartment complex earlier that day.

According to source materials provided to Lower Bucks Source the car fires were caused by the intentional actions of one of the motorists involved in the incident.

First responders on scene told police, the black vehicle sitting at the 8 o’ clock angle in this story feature picture, rammed both vehicles and was found in his vehicle with a fully involved fire unconscious.

Levittown #2 and Croydon Fire companies were on scene with the Bucks County Rescue Squad  and Bristol Twp Fire Marshal.

As of Sunday, morning no arrests or arrest warrants have been filed by township police. The seriousness of the injuries to the man rescued from the vehicle while it was on fire remain unclear.

Original Story

A set of car fires in the parking lot of the Levittown Trace apartment complex is now under investigation by Bristol Township Police, fire officials told Lower Bucks Source Saturday afternoon.

The 3-vehicle fire at the 3000 Ford Road apartment complex ignited sometime after 2 p.m.

According to tipsters and witnesses, a vehicle struck two other vehicles causing the fire in the H building area that backs up to the Stadium Bar.

Newportville Fire Company Chief Fred Black confirmed there was a burn victim who was rescued from the fire and taken for medical treatment, adding that the incident is under police investigation.

Bristol Township Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment prior to story publication on Saturday.
