Bristol Township Police are investigating what they are calling a strong arm robbery of the 7-Eleven in Croydon on Thursday.
Officers were dispatched to the 7-Eleven 293 Bristol Pike, around 1 pm. Police said an unknown suspect removed miscellaneous items passing all points of sale.
Police said Friday they are still collecting information on the robbery. They did, however. release some additional information not included in their daily press release reports, upon a request from Lower Bucks Source.
Bristol Township Police Lieutenant Sean Cosgrove shed some more light on the robbery.
“A retail theft escalated to threatening behavior by the suspect after he was confronted by the manager outside the store,” Cosgrove said.
The suspect is described as a male with a tattoo below his left eye, wearing white sweatpants and a black hooded sweatshirt, he said.
Anyone with information on the suspect in the robbery can call Bristol Township Police at 215-785-4040. Or submit an anonymous tip by clicking here.
The investigation is ongoing, Cosgrove said.
