Missing ‘Endangered’ Levittown Woman Found at Local Hospital

The 77-year-old woman, missing since Saturday morning, was found at an area hospital, Bristol Township Police said Monday afternoon.

Zolia Palencia, who lives with serious health issues that impact her ability to remember, wandered away from her Red Cedar home Saturday morning. Hours later social media pages across Bristol Twp/Levittown lit with posts from family and friends as a spread the word (and picture) went into high gear.

Police issued a press release Monday at 1 pm. Police issued a follow up press release about 90 minutes later saying Palencia was located at an area hospital.

Details are still being sorted but her identification by staff is very likely the direct result of a media posting, Lt Sean Cosgrove said.
