Thornridge House Fire Under Investigation by Falls Twp Fire Marshal

A Thornridge home in the Levittown section of Falls Township turned into a burning inferno Saturday morning with the fire marshal’s office asking why.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., Saturday morning, Levittown Fire Company #1, along with Fairless Hills Fire Department, Falls Fire Company, Levittown #2, and Morrisville Fire Companies were dispatched to Tapered Oak Lane in the Thornridge section of Levittown, fire officials said.

Upon arrival, fire crews were advised all occupants and pets fled the burning structure safely. The flames from the fire had  extended through the attic and did substantial damage to the home, with the blaze placed under control within 30 minutes of firefighters arriving, officials said.

There was extension into the dwelling and attic space causing significant damage throughout structure, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported.

The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad was also dispatched to the fire scene.

The fire is currently under investigation by Falls Twp Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito.
