A 60 year old Levittown man is in jail Thursday after a late night standoff with authorities for reportedly threatening family members with an AR-15 rifle as authorities search for the weapon.

On-call District Judge John Galloway arraigned Peter P. Tesno on one count of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize others, remanding him to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $200,000.0o early this morning.

According to Bristol Township Police, on Wednesday night June 25, 2025 at 11:20 p.m officers responded to Fawn Lane for a report of a domestic dispute involving an AR-15 rifle.

Upon arrival, police made contact with family members who fled the house. They reported Tesno threatened them and had a rifle,  Lt Sean Cosgrove said.

Police officers immediately set up a perimeter, requested a shelter in place order, and called for the Bucks County South SWAT Team, police said.

Meanwhile 911 received two calls reporting a man walking down the street with an AR style rifle near the Kenwood section of Levittown. Police were unable to locate the suspect, police said in a press release.

Police eventually made contact with Tesno outside of the perimeter and was unarmed at the time. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to police headquarters for arraignment, said Cosgrove.

A search of the area was conducted by Police K9 in an attempt to locate the firearm which came up empty, police said.

If you live in the area of the Farmbrook, Greenbrook, or Kenwood sections, please check your property out of abundance of caution.

The Bristol Township Police request that anyone who locates a firearm, to please contact 911 immediately and do not handle it in any way, Cosgrove said.
