A motorcycle crash Saturday evening sent the rider to a local medical facility for treatment with police investigating charges of riding under the influence, public safety officials said Sunday.
The crash occurred in the area of PennCo Tech School at around 10:30 p.m.
The Bucks County Rescue Squad, Croydon Fire Company and Fairless Hills Rescue Squad responded to the crash scene.
The motorcyclist was alert and aware when placed on a stretcher for transport to a local medical facility for a possible head injury. On scene observers said he was wearing a helmet when the crash occurred. First responders on scene noted the strong possibility that the rider was “intoxicated,” sources said.
Bristol Township Police were not immediately available for comment on the crash investigation.
