Shed Fire Under Investigation in Bristol Twp

Credit: Third District Fire Company

The Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s office is investigating a Friday night shed fire on a site slated for demolition.

First responders were dispatched just before 10:30 Friday night to 1230 Norton Avenue where a 20 x 12 shed was on fire, officials said.

Homeless individuals were reportedly living in the shed, but none were present when police and firefighters arrived, said Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito.

The property is slated for demolition in the near future because a 51-unit senior housing building “The Lighthouse at Norton Ave,” is being built.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
