A New Year’s Eve blaze engulfed a home in the Pinewood section of Levittown in Falls Township and thankfully no one was seriously injured.
Fire Crews were dispatched just after 6:30 p.m. to the 40 block of Poplar Lane. Upon arrival, firefighters found a two-story redeveloped home fully involved blaze.
Neighbors told firefighters everyone in the home but a cat was able to flee the flames
According to two first responder sources, the blaze started in the backyard/garage area of the home.
The glow of the blaze filled Levittown skies for blocks in every direction, as it crackled with the fire alarm shouting in the background “get out of your house, it’s on fire .”
Sources said the burning home had just been renovated and was victim to a fire recently. Lower Bucks Source was unable to confirm those reports.
A July fire, close to last night’s blaze did happen, and was under investigation, by Bristol Township officials this summer at last check.
