Fire Destroys Shed in Croydon, Damages Adjacent Properties

A shed fire on Tuesday night in Bristol Township is under investigation fire officials said Wednesday.

The fire which occurred on the 1700 block of Maple Avenue just after 8 pm ripped through a shed and is said to have caused property damage

The blaze completely destroyed a 12 x 20 shed on the property. It also consumed a large portion of vinyl fencing that was next to the shed said Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin T. Dippolito.

Investigators said the fire looks to have started near a wood-burning stove that was in the shed.

The heat of the fire damaged at least four neighboring sheds and or homes, officials said.

No one was reported injured in the fire.
