Update: Friday Night Motorcyclist Crash Sends 1 to the Hospital

Update – Saturday, 12 p.m.

According to Bristol Township Police:   
On Friday June 6th, 2024, at approximately 2204 hours (10:04 PM) Bristol Township Police responded to the report of a crash involving a vehicle verses a motorcycle in the area of New Falls Road and Indian Creek Pass, Levittown, PA, 19057.

The preliminary investigation shows that a silver 2006 Acura MDX was traveling west on New Falls Road attempting to make a left turn southbound on Indian Creek Pass. A white 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling east on New Falls Road in the designated left lane of travel approaching the intersection with Indian Creek Pass. The Acura made contact with the Harley Davidson in the right eastbound lane of travel on New Falls Road.

The operator of the motorcycle was transported by Bucks County Rescue Squad to St. Mary’s Hospital.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Bucks County Rescue Squad, Bristol Township Fire Police, and the Levittown Fire Company No. 2.

 A motorcyclist driving on a Bristol Township road reportedly slammed into another vehicle sending its operator to the hospital late Friday night.

The accident which occurred in the area of Yorke Pharmacy 5500 block of  New Falls Road sent the motorcyclist to a local area hospital for treatment of what were described by on scene first responder as “serious injuries,” around 11 p.m. 

Images, taken by a Lower Bucks Source photographer, were too graphic to publish reinforced the seriousness of the crash with bodily fluids and skin appearing on the vehicle struck by the motorcyclist

New Falls Road from approximately Bristol Oxford Valley Road to the entrance of Quincy Hollow was shut down for about two hours as police investigated. An accident reconstructionist detective was seen taking photos and measurements of the crash site.  

 

According to images taken at the impact site, the motorcyclist crashed into the passenger side rear of a silver SUV.

A source on scene said an adult was driving the second vehicle of an  unknown make and model with two minor passengers on board who were observed on at the impact location speaking with police and first responders. 

Communications with Bristol Twp Police were not immediately returned as of early Saturday morning.
