Gunfire Incident Under Investigation in Bristol Township

If you thought you were hearing late night fireworks early Friday in the area of Beaver Dam Rd, close but no cigar. 

On Saturday, June 8, Bristol Township police confirmed to Lower Bucks Source gun shots rang our in the early morning hours Friday, June 7.

Sources, several hours after a number of gun shots were heard in the community, said police responded with several vehicles and conducted what appeared to be a through gird search for casings and other possible evidence.

The shots were fired and heard in close proximity to a homeless encampment deep in a wooded area close by on state property.

Authorities said the investigation is active and ongoing but would not comment and or confirm they were working several leads.
