Hit and Run Accident Kills Skateboarder

The pedestrian killed in Friday night’s hit and run accident in Bristol Township was identified as Joel Steven Moreau by the Bucks County Coroner, Meredith Buck.

Moreau, 28, was riding his skateboard on Haines Road near Royal Park Apartments on Friday evening, November 24, 2023, when struck by the fleeing vehicle.

Moreau’s cause of death, according to Buck, was multiple injuries due to the accident.

A description of the involved vehicle has not yet been released, and the accident remains an open investigation.
