A self-described homeless woman living out of her car was charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault by the Pennsylvania State Police after they responded to a two-vehicle crash earlier this month in Bristol Township on I -95.
According to arriving state troopers who were dispatched to the Nov. 12 crash that occurred around 8:45 p.m. on 1-95 SB mile marker 39.00 in Bristol Twp, they made contact with the driver of a 2007 sliver Toyota Prius bearing a NJ Registration. This vehicle, police said, merged right into another lane and struck a vehicle.
While speaking to the driver of the Prius. policer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath when speaking. She was ordered to the state police patrol unit but she refused several times. She was advised if she did not she would be placed in handcuffs. Once between the tow truck on scene and the front of her vehicle, she leaned against the guardrail. An officer shined their flashlight on her face and observed her eyes to be watery. She was asked if she had been drinking, she stated she smoked “weed” because she is from NJ and told the officer to check her vehicle’s registration plate, it’s from NJ so she can smoke, officers wrote in court records.
Police identified the suspect, using her Texas Driver’s License, as Alexandra Sepulveda. While ordering her back to the front of the patrol vehicle for further testing, she jumped in her vehicle in an attempt to flee the scene. Troopers had to physically extract her from the vehicle after she refused verbal commands to get out. She rolled onto the floor, then got up and was placed in handcuffs.
Once on the front driver side bumper area of a State Police patrol unit, Sepulveda began trying to run, pull away and then attempted to run into traffic on I-95 twice. Police had to restrain the woman bringing her to the ground by the guardrail. Sepulveda then attempted to kick a state trooper in the legs several times and later in the struggle, she attempted to kick the officer in the face, while police tried to gain control of her. While in the rear of a state police vehicle she attempted to kick out the driver side rear window. When taking her out of the vehicle she attempted to kick a second Trooper, court records allege.
Sepulveda stated she has asthma and EMS was requested to respond to the accident area.
When Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene, they placed the suspect on a stretcher and she spit in a Cpl.’s face While in the ambulance, Sepulveda refused EMS care and she said she does not have asthma; she just said that and faked her breathing problems. She admitted to not having a seat belt on and striking her head during the crash going approx. 75mph, Troopers wrote in court papers.
Sepulveda was transported by Bensalem EMS to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for a medical evaluation in which blood was drawn to determine her blood alcohol content level. She was released from the hospital and processed at state police headquarters.
Sepulveda was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, three counts of simple assault, recklessly endangerment, three DUI related charges and other related offenses. Bail was set at $70,000 which she was unable to post and was remanded by District Judge Gary Gambardella to Bucks County Correctional Facility. At a Nov. 15 Court of Common Pleas hearing her bail was reduced to 10 percent of $10,000 by Judge James McMaster.
She is currently scheduled for a December 4 appearance in Bristol Twp. District Court.

Could/would you specifically point out what you’re referring to please – typos happen everyday at every online publication in existence. We strive for perfection however sometimes we fall short of meeting that goal. What we will always open to is making corrections where they are needed.
