Levittown Man Charged for Fleeing Police, Traffic Offenses

A Levittown man driving on a suspened license in an unregistered vehicle was arrested and charged for fleeing Bristol Township Police earlier this month.

On-Call District Judge Joseph Falcone arraigned Conner T. Thompson Thursday evening on a felony charge of fleeing the  police and several traffic summary offenses.

Bristol Township Police filed an arrest warrant for Thompson on Jan 7 of this year connected to his arrest Tuesday night.

Falcone set unsecured bail of $10,000 with  a hearing date set for Feb. 10 to appear before District Judge Kevin Wagner.

.According to the probable cause, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, a Bristol Township police officer was on patrol in the parking lot of the Motel 6 on Rt 13 The officer checked the registration plate on a white colored Jeep Cherokee 4×4, b  and it came back expired as of August 2024. The registered owner also came back with a suspended Pennsylvania Drivers License.

While sitting in the parking lot a male, which matched the picture of the registered owner, jogged out of the Motel 6, entered the Jeep, then went drove around to the back of the property, and exited, making a left hand turn onto Airport Rd.  Police came out behind the vehicle as it was turning onto Manning Blvd. and began to follow him without lights at first. The driver went onto Manning Blvd. further back in the industrial park area without using a turn signal, then back towards Harmer Ave. The trailling police officer activated his lights and the Jeep driver continued to accelerate as we went onto Hartel St. The officer advised other units that the car was fleeing on Manning Blvd. due to him increasing his speed, police said in court records.

The driver continued on Hartel St. towards Runway Rd. at a high rate of speed. Once the driver got to Runway Rd. he turned right, again without using a turn signal, and then went towards Edgely Rd., then turned right onto Edgely Rd. back towards Bristol Pike heading southbound, according to the probable cause. It was at this time the police terminated the hot pursuit

Police officers in court papers said they were able to see the driver go around two vehicles and without using a turn signal made a right hand turn onto Bristol Pike, heading south. Police watched the suspect drive as if he was going to go back onto Airport Rd., then quickly weave back into the traffic lane and continue south on Bristol Pike towards Green Lane.
