Levittown Motor Vehicle Accident Causes Downed Wires

A motor vehicle accident Saturday evening involved a downed pole in the Levittown area of Bristol Township, PA, said Ron Roberts, emergency services reporter..

According to Roberts, who was on the scene; Emergency services were dispatched shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept 21 to the area of Haines Rd and Farmbrook Drive for an accident with possible injuries.

A pickup truck struck a utility pole bringing down wires across the roadway.

Bristol Township Police and and Levittown-Fairless Hills EMS officer arrived on the scene, found no injuries at this location, and cancelled the ambulance.

Edgely Fire Co. Engine 10 responded to the scene for the accident standby and were tasked with fluid control from the striking vehicle which sustained heavy front end damage.

Bristol Township Fire Police had Haines Rd closed between Mill Creek Parkway and Dogwood Way as PECO worked on the scene into the evening.
