A child was taken to a Philadelphia Hospital by medical helicopter Thursday morning with reported burns.
Information is scarce, reports say a child was airlifted out of the Goldenridge section of Bristol Township this morning for burn treatment to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
Details on the patients condition were not known as of publication time, but a source with knowledge of the incident said the child was burned by a hot coffee pot.
What drew the attention of locals was the helicopter’s landing at Policeman’s park in Indian Creek, with one Goldenridge resident describing the on goings.
The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, Levittown Fire Company No 2 , Bristol Township fire engine, and Police were on hand to facilitate the emergency landing and liftoff.
A neighborhood source told the publication the emergency airlift occurred a little after 7:30 this morning. The rarity of seeing a helicopter land within the confines of a neighborhood is what drew plenty of attention to the emergency response.
