Updated: Missing Levittown Man’s Wife Says Remains Found Saturday in Delhaas Woods

A tragic end to a year-old mystery for the wife of a Levittown man reported missing last year happened Saturday night. 

The remains of Marc Spenillo, were found and identified, his wife told Lower Bucks Source Monday morning in the Delhaas Woods in Bristol Township. 

Victoria said she was contacted by County authorities on Saturday, once they were able to confirm the missing man’s identify through dental records.

Husband Marc originally went missing last April, with his wife Victoria pleading with him to come home, no matter the circumstance thorough social media and news accounts. 

Saturday the news she truly dreaded hearing came to fruition, she said. 

“I received a call letting me know that after almost a year of being missing they have found the remains of my husband. Thank you all who shared and prayed for my family. This is not the outcome I was hoping for, we are all devastated ,” she said tagging this publication in a social media post.

Bucks County officials on Monday afternoon said Spenillo’s, remains were found by someone who was walking a dog on March 30, under the power lines in the woods  Bucks County Park Rangers were called, who in turn notified the coroner.

The Bucks County Coroner confirmed the identity of the remains as Spenillo’s and next of kin was notified, County Spokesperson Larry King said.

The Coroner determined it was death by suicide. 

The woods are on the grounds of the  Silver Lake Nature Center which spans 170 acres.

At the time, the couple had been married for a little over a year and living in the Plumridge section of Bristol Townships, Levittown area. 

Marc was 38 when he went missing and had a birthday this past January, his wife said. 

“I am doing as well as can be this has been a long hard road” Victoria said, having recently moved to Berks County.
