Night Out Leads to Levittown Woman Stabbing Boyfriend:Cops

A night out at a bar last Saturday, ended in violence with one person knifed and the other in jail in an apparent domestic incident

Suzanne Garber was charged with one felony count of aggravated assault and several related offenses for stabbing a man who appears to be her boyfriend in the chest, police say.

Officers were dispatched to the 30 block of Incurve Road just before 10 pm for a stabbing report. The victim was at his neighbor’s house having fled home after he was knifed, police said….

Police obtained video surveillance from the neighbor, police said, part of the incident.

The footage showed, according to police,  the victim arrived home first, approximately 9:38 p.m. Garber arrived a minute later. She pulled into the driveway, but then backed up and parked her vehicle halfway in the driveway and in the street. The victim, covered in blood, left the house, and went next door for help at 9:46 p.m. The police arrived at 9:57 p.m. to render first aid, court records show.

The victim was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center, by medics, for a stabbing wound in the right shoulder/chest area. Garber was transported to Lower Bucks Hospital for a small laceration of the wrist, court records show.

The police said they were able to interview the victim while he was in the hospital.

The victim, told police, he and Garber were out at a bar. He left first  He fell asleep on the couch when Garber arrived home.

He then woke to something happening to him. He did not know what occurred, at first, till he saw blood on his shirt and a knife in Garber’s hand. He wrestled the knife away, went outside, threw the knife in the rear of his truck. He then proceeded to the neighbors for help, said the victim in his statement to the police.

Garber, at the scene, said to police, the victim threatened to shoot her in the head, according to probable cause.

Garber’s preliminary hearing will be on January 16 with Judge Kevin P. Wagner.
