Two Vehicle Crash on Veterans Highway Sends 1 to Hospital

Bristol Township Police are investigating a nasty two-vehicle accident that occurred Friday night sending at least one person to the hospital.

The crash occurred in the area of the 700  block of Veterans Highway around 8:45 p.m, when, according to one witness on the scene when one  vehicle smashed into to a second vehicle trying to make a turn on the busy roadway.

Debris from the wreck was scattered for yards from the original impact site, as one of the two vehicles, a brown pickup truck came to a full stop about 60 feet after impact.

The driver of the truck, a Bristol area resident, Andre Moore, said late Friday night, he was treated and released from Lower Bucks Hospital with minor injuries.

“I’m thankful that I’m ok” he said mentioning he just purchased the truck last week.

“Car/truck can easily be replaced but my life cannot” he said.

No word on whether the other motorist in the accident required medical attention.
