A 40-year-old motorcyclist died from injuries received in a Tuesday evening crash on Bristol-Emilie Road in Levittown.
Approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday, a source informed Lower Bucks Source that Bristol-Emilie Road near Green Lane was closed due to a motorcycle accident. A Facebook post was generated to inform readers of the closure. It was learned through Facebook by friends and family members of a fatality in the accident, later his name-Fred Lee was made public by the same group.
Bristol Township Police Department said the accident occurred in the early evening at approximately 5:27 p.m. The crash involving a vehicle verses a motorcycle on Bristol-Emilie Road, near the intersection with Green Lane. The preliminary investigation shows a green 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling west on Bristol-Emilie Road and a white 2020 GMC Terrain was traveling east on the road. The GMC was attempting to make a left turn into a parking lot. The Kawasaki made contact with the GMC in the westbound lane of travel on Bristol Emilie Road.

The motorcyclist, a 40-year old man from Bristol, was transported by the Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to Lower Bucks Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, said Lt Sean Cosgrove.
The operator of the GMC, a 26-year-old female from Croydon, was transported to Jefferson Bucks Hospital by Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad for treatment, police said.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, Levittown Fire Company No. 2 Station 13, Third District Fire Company Station 14, and Bristol Township Fire Police.
