What was initially thought to be a vehicle accident  with a motorist trapped and a fire burning  turned out to be a two vehicle accident caused by an improper left turn, police said late Friday in Falls Township.

At approximately 7 p.m. on last night, the Fairless Hills Fire Company – Station 31 was dispatched for  a report of an auto extraction near the exit of Commerce Blvd. to N. Oxford Valley Rd.

Tipsters, commenters and readers said they did not see a fire of any kind in the area of the reported accident.

There was an accident on Oxford Valley Road at Cabot Boulevard,  two vehicles were involved, but no car fire that I’m aware, said Lt Chris Clark

“The fire department responded for entrapment but both drivers were conscious and alert. One driver was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The accident was caused by an improper left turn,” Clark said.
