86 Year-Old Woman Dies in Car Accident Caused by Medical Emergency

The car accident on Hood Boulevard Tuesday morning was the result of a medical emergency, Falls Township Police said Wednesday morning.

The fatal accident occurred a little after 7:45 a.m, when Nancy Amoroso, of Morrisville was traveling south on Hood Blvd in her Nissan Sentra, veered across the opposite lane and crashed into a parked vehicle, said police.

Amoroso, police said, is though to have had an medical emergency. She was transferred to Jefferson Bucks Hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Investigators closed the busy roadway close to Pennsbury High School for several hours as they tried to determine the cause of the crash.
