A 27-year-old U.S. airman faces felony charges after a 15-year-old Falls Township girl who was reported missing Thursday was found safe in Delaware, police said.
Police said the teen left her Falls Township home through a back window at about 3:18 a.m last Thursday and left her cellphone behind. Her family called police after realizing she was gone, prompting an urgent search.
Investigators located her safe in the Dover, Delaware, area at about 4 p.m., Falls Township police said.
An arrest warrant charging, Dylan Drake Williams 27 of Colorado with four felony sex related crimes involving contact with a minor was filed by police late Thursday night.
Williams was taken into custody by authorities at the Dover Air Force Base and is awaiting extradition to Bucks County, authorities said.
“We would also like to acknowledge NOVA, Bucks County’s Network of Victim Assistance, for their very important and often overlooked role and contributions” Lt Chris Clark said.
Clark thanked the FBI, US Marshall’s Service, Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Bucks County Detectives, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Dover City Police Department and the United States Air Force, Dover Base, who’s invaluable assistance and coordinated efforts led to the recovery of our victim.
