Attack in Levittown leads to 5 Charged with Aggravated Assault

Five men have been charged with aggravated assault and related offenses for an attack on a victim that left him with “severe injuries” on Sunday, Falls Township authorities say.

Justin Rush, 23 of Bristol, Anthony Martin Jr., 30 of Philadelphia, Shareef Taylor, 33 of Philadelphia, Ryan Beck, 2o of Levittown,  and David Rivera, 21 of Philadelphia, were all video arraigned early Monday morning for their alleged attack on the male victim. 

According to court records, Falls Township Police were dispatched to 256 Pinewood Drive in Levittown for a report of a fight in progress Sunday evening, court documents show. 

When authorities arrived on scene at approximately 7:30 p.m. they observed a victim with critical injuries and “bleeding to his face,” according to the criminal complaint filed. 

Falls Police obtained descriptions of the five suspects and were able to locate them with assistance from other responding officers. 

Each of the five men charged was positively identified by a witness to the attack, according to the probable cause affidavit.  

All of the men were released on unsecured bail, and are scheduled for preliminary hearings on June 10 in front of District Justice Jan Vislosky.
