A Bristol man is wanted by Falls Township Police accused of defrauding a Levittown couple out of thousands of dollars to replace a stone wall that lines their driveway and sidewalk at their Levittown home.
On September 2, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Falls Twp Police were advised by Bucks County Police Radio of a walk-in complaint regarding alleged contractor fraud.
Investigators spoke with the complainants who related they posted an inquiry on “Nextdoor” looking for someone to replace the stone wall that lines the sidewalk and the drive way of their home. They were contacted by Jason Ball, said he would do the job.
Ball, according to court records, required half of the money up front, which was paid. Bell then came out and began theob.
The complainants paid Ball the rest of the money for the work per his request, police allege in court records
Ball then abandoned the job, the complainants told, police.
The homeowners said, they attempted to reach out to Ball but were unable to get a hold of him. Records of all the payments to Ball were provided to police, with a written statement, court records show.
Numerous attempts were made to contact Bell but he failed to contact either the victim or police, said investigators.
Below is a break down of the agreement and payments between Ball and the homeowners:
- -July 3, 2026: agreement was signed between Ball and homeowner’s. Suspect was to begin the job July 6, 2026 and finish July 10, 2026. Ball was given a down payment of $2650, paid in the form of a check. The check was cashed the same day.
- -July 8, 2026: Homeowners paid Ball $500 with a check for for tacks and glue. The check was cashed the same day It is unclear if this payment was even used for the supplies.
- -July 14, 2026: Homeowners issue Ball a check for $1500 the check was cashed the same day
- -July 16, 2026: Homeowners paid Ball the final payment of $1150. The check was cashed the same day.
- The total amount paid for the job: $5800.
