Cops: BOLO Cancelled, Investigation Determines “Attempted Luring” was a “Misunderstanding”

Falls  Township Police cancelled the BOLO alert issued Wednesday evening subsequent to their investigation which  determined the interaction to be a “misunderstanding.”

Police said in a press release “the subsequent investigation determined that it was a misunderstanding between the two, no charges are warranted, and there is no threat or danger to the community.”

Falls Police said they were able to locate the owner of the vehicle posted and speak with the man involved as a result of the alert being circulated throughout the area.

“Thanks again for everyone’s vigilance,” a statement read from Falls Police.
