Cops: Falls Woman Falsely Accuses Fiance of Pouring Gas on Her

Submitted:

A Falls Township woman has been charged with making  false accusations to authorities about her fiance.

Police say  Siedah Long, 34 called authorities who responded shortly thereafter to her residence.

At the crest of the door, the officer wrote in court documents, he noticed the strong odor of gasoline. Long told police that her ‘ ex fiance’ poured the flammable liquid all over her, but evaded follow up questions  from the responding officer and repeatedly asking, police ‘you smell it right?’

Long told police her fiance of four years , left  home for work. Police asked for her fiance’s name, and she spelled  it incorrectly, (Tamar) when it is in fact spelled Tamara

Police asked for her fiance’s dates of birth , Long  had said earlier, she was 46, but she provided police with November, 1976, which was incorrect, according to court documents, the fiances birth date is November of 1973.

Falls Police believed Long  ‘knowingly” provided bad information about her fiances name and birthdate and  implicated her in a crime.

Long is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 25 in front of Justice Jan Vislosky.
