A 31 year-old Delaware County man stands accused of masturbating at nail salon which for him did not end happily as he’s in the custody of county authorities Friday .

On Thursday June 5, 2025 at approximately 5: 40 p.m., Falls Police Twp police  were dispatched to Ricky’s Nails, located in the Morrisville section of Falls Township, for an indecent exposure complaint. Bucks County Radio advised a black male operating a green bicycle exposed himself, stole something from Dollar General, and was inside Burger King, according to the probable cause.

Police arrived at Burger King and made contact with Richard Polk, who was now detained. Officer Dan  Matkowski, read Polk his Miranda Warnings and he agreed to speak with police

The officer asked Polk if he stole anything, which, according to court records, Polk admitted to stealing soap from Dollar General, which he said  was inside his backpack.  Police retrieved the soap and a brand new electronic hair trimmer, totaling $21.00, which Richard also admitted to stealing

Matkowski, searched Polk and located a black and green baggie containing suspected marijuana in his pants pocket, according to court records.

Polk denied going inside the nail salon and exposing himself, police said at first.  He was escorted outside and placed in the rear of a patrol vehicle.

Police spoke with multiple witnesses at the nail salon, who witnessed Polk masturbating and ejaculating inside the salon. Police confronted Polk about the allegations  which he admitted to it and blamed it on being high on marijuana. Polk said  he did not touch anyone in the process.

On-Call District Judge Corryn L. Kronnagel arraigned Polk on misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, drug possession and additional related offenses, setting bail at 10 percent of $75,000.00 remanding him to Bucks County Correctional Facility, as he was unable to post. Polk has a court date set for June 17 to answer to the charges.
