A Morrisville man, based on cyber tips, was arrested last week charged with single counts of disseminating photo/film of child sex act(s), child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility, a child safety advocacy group provided to Falls Township Police.
Detective Ronald McPherson opened the investigation after receiving three separate tips from the online advocacy group alleging an account reporting a user from MediaLab/Kik saved, shared, or uploaded apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on or about July 5, July 20 and September 23, 2024.
Richard Glassie Jr, just turned 37, from the Morrisville section of Falls Township was the suspected holder of the Kik accounts and police discovered he had two additional accounts with the service.
Investigators reviewed the suspected child pornography reported in the CyberTips. There were a total of seventeen (17) files contained with the warnings.
Below is a description of three files which were sent from this user to another, police said in court papers.
-The video file depicts a prepubescent female approximately 10-12 years old showing her exposed genitalia and bum.
-This image file depicts a prepubescent female approximately 8-10 years old bent over on a bed with entire lower half body exposed.
-This image file depicts three (3) naked prepubescent females approximately 6-8 years old who are laying on a blanket on the ground exposing there entire bottom area.
On Thursday October 10, 2024, McPherson, along with investigators from Falls Twp. Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security Investigations, Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Middletown Township Police Department, and the Bucks County Sheriff’s office served a search warrant on Glassie’s residence located on Makefield Drive.
Investigators made contact with Glassie in the apartment. On his person was a Samsung Z-fold cell phone. Police spoke with Glassie and advised him of the search warrant. Glassie said, “What the f**k is Kik.”
Investigators collected the Samsung Z-fold and a forensic analysis/download was later performed. Results from the download showed the Kik application was installed on the phone and the purchase date listed was 04/17/2023. The email address “roncruz88@gmail.com” was also on the phone. This email address was the listed email address for the Kik account holder regarding the CyberTip on July 20, 2024. The username for this CyberTip was “Boytroy05.” Glassie’s cell phone contained different variations of BoyTroy, for example: Boy Troy2005, Boy Troy2006, and Boytroy97, according to the probable cause.
A search warrant was subsequently served to Medial.ab/Kik regarding the user accounts reported in the CyberTips on July 5 and July 20, 2024. The username for the July 5, 2024 CyberTip was “bignicke189.” Records received from Kik regarding this account included image and video files from the CyberTip and text message data.
There was a message sent to bignickel89 asking him if they are interested in buying underteen. In the image files, there was an image of a hand holding an erect penis of a naked male. The male is laying down on gray sheets and there is a blue pillow case. This same image was located on Glassie’s phone. Records received for the previously mentioned user, Boytroy05, from the July 20, 2024 CyberTip also included image files from the CyberTip and text message data.
User Boytroy05 sent messages in a group chat to include: “My daughters teen friends are so hot”, “I’ll trade nudes of them DM me if you got young pics”, and “16 year old p***y is the best.”
Forensic analysis of storage media and electronic devices seized during the aforementioned search warrant, for any additional illegal media files, is ongoing as of this filing for illegal images, police said.
District Judge John Galloway arraigned Glassie on the child porn offenses last Wednesday, setting bail as unsecured. His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov 26 and is represented by Parlow & Lang LLC in Bensalem, according to court records.
