Falls Father Charged with Child Endangerment

A Fairless Hills man was arrested  for endangering his child Tuesday.

Falls Township Police say Sean Crowley, struck his child while he/she was holding an object that caused minor injuries.

Police say they responded to the 600 Block of Chatham Road yesterday after receiving a report that a child was struck by his father. Police responding to call, interviewed Crowley who admitted to hitting his child which caused minor injuries.

Crowley was taken into custody and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, and a related offenses.

He was video arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Daniel Baranoski and released on his own recognizance with a no contact order in place, police said.

Crowley, 48  is scheduled to appear in the Falls Township District Court on June 1 to answer to the charges.
