A 58-year-old Falls Township man has been charged with one count of indecent assault in a disturbing series of escalating incidents culminating with him caught on video stimulating himself to climax in the victim’s bedroom.
On July 13, 2026, Falls Township Police Detective John Vella spoke with the complainant/victim of indecent assault.
According to the probable cause, the victim told police she resides in the Falls Twp. section of Morrisville with her mother and step-father, identified as Yasar Tan.
The victim then went away to college and moved back in with her mother and Tan after college in 2016.
At that time, the victim said, Tan started to grope the victim over top of her clothing. He would hug her and then grab her buttocks over her clothing.
She alleged Tan would go into her bedroom to say good night and grab her breasts over her clothing.
Around November or December of 2025, she suspected Tan was going through her underwear drawer in her bedroom, so she installed a lock and began locking her bedroom door when leaving the apartment, the criminal complaint alleges.
According to court records, on July 11, 2026, the victim installed a surveillance camera in her bedroom.
At approximately 8:39 a.m., video footage showed Tan entering her bedroom, taking out a pair of underwear, and self-stimulating to climax, according to police.
Tan was arrested and charged with indecent assault at his August 25 arraignment in front of District Judge John Galloway. He spent a night in Bucks County Jail before posting 10 percent of $35,000.00 bail. He is due back in court on September 16 and the judge put a no contact order in place.
Tan has no attorney of record noted in court records as of publication time.
