Firefighter Drown Car Fire Tuesday

Firefighters drowned out a car fire in Lower Makefield Tuesday morning.

Fire crews from the Yardley- Lower Makefield and Falls Township were called to the area of Stony Hill Road and Bluestone Drive for a vehicle the blaze around 7 a.m. finding fully engulfed with flames. from its engine to the passenger rear, said fire officials.

Engine 30 arrived first and went in service with Utility 80s first responders assisting with manpower. YMFC fire police assisted with diverting traffic while fire fighter’s put the fire out.

No injuries were reported.
