A Bucks County jury convicted a 35-year-old man on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, of several drug-dealing charges, stemming from a 2023 investigation in Falls Township after he fled and is now being sought by authorities.
Santeeno Deon Grant, of Falls Township, was found guilty of three counts each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Grant appeared for the first two days of the jury trial before Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr, but he did not appear on Wednesday when the jury returned with a guilty verdict.
His bail was revoked, and he is now considered a fugitive from justice.
This narcotics investigation was conducted by the Bucks County Detectives Drug Strike Force, with assistance of the Bucks County Detectives, South SWAT Team, Falls Township Police Department and other law enforcement agencies. During their investigation, search warrants were executed on Grant’s apartment and vehicle in January 2023. Inside his apartment, detectives located drug paraphernalia that included a digital scale, parchment paper containing a tan colored rock-like substance in the kitchen freezer, numerous new and unused clear bags, and new and unused wax bags. In the vehicle, detectives found a digital scale in the vehicle’s center console, a blue Apple iPhone on the front passenger seat, and 10 white bags containing suspected heroin/fentanyl under the front driver’s seat.
The items were analyzed and a final lab report found that the tan-colored substance in the freezer weighed 34.28 grams and tested positive for several controlled substances, including acetylfentanyl, fentanyl, and heroin. The ten white bags in the vehicle weighed 0.18 grams and tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl.
